The innovative operating system for intensive and acute care medicine
Regulatory compliance
Integrity and completeness of data: mona OS automates the high-frequency recording of data such as vital parameters, point-of-care (PoC) devices or device data from organ replacement procedures in an audit-proof system.
Free data access
mona OS offers an open and comprehensively documented HL7 FHIR interface to the Clininal Data Repository, i.e. full data sovereignty and access to your data in structured form at no additional cost.
550 h time saving per bed
The combination of automatic data capture and voice input saves up to 30 minutes of administrative tasks per bed and shift, i.e. 550 hours per bed and year. [1] [2].
Revenue assurance
Mona has reduced documentation errors by a factor of eight. [5]. mona OS records billing-relevant data such as ventilation times automatically, correctly and reliably.

Interoperability
IoT gateway, integrated communication server and other technologies such as IHE Profile ensure the robust interoperability of mona OS with hundreds of medical devices and your clinic’s information systems.
Plug&Play
Simple, intuitive UI for configuring the connected medical devices – including retrospective data acquisition of vital parameters, for example after transfer between the OR and ICU
Scalability
mona OS supports small and medium-sized hospitals as well as maximum care providers. The integrated HL7-FHIR-based Clinical Data Repository has been optimized for maximum performance and offers near real-time data access.
Cybersecurity
mona OS meets all modern cyber security requirements and is even suitable for use in the cloud.
High availability
mona OS allows continuous operation even during extensive maintenance work: Updates are imported and tested before they are released for productive operation within seconds.
mona OS offers you the technical basis for using operational and clinical data for innovation purposes or your own developments. In addition, Clinomic supports you in accessing public funding and utilization of your data within the framework of the German Health Data Utilization Act.
Data from medical devices such as vital signs monitors, ventilators and infusion systems is recorded automatically, possibly using an IoT gateway. Of course, structured data is also exchanged with all HL7-compatible information systems in your hospital. The recorded data is aggregated in the patient file and is available in a harmonized, structured form.
mona OS supports HL7 v2 and HL7 FHIR for connectivity and interoperability with other systems. It provides a standardized, FHIR-based CDR platform and enables the automatic capture of data from information systems such as HIS and LIS as well as from the medical devices in your ICU.
The architecture of mona OS separates data from applications and business logic. Together with the open and fully documented HL7 FHIR interface, mona OS enables you to connect your own applications or third-party products.
mona OS currently supports several hundred medical devices from the categories vital signs, organ replacement procedures, pumps and injectors and point-of-care devices. Get in touch with us to discuss your specific device landscape.
mona OS is designed as a modular and scalable system. Depending on the size of your institution, a single professional server is sufficient. But of course mona OS also supports modern virtualization environments or cloud deployments. Let us discuss your requirements in a joint appointment.
