The 27th edition of the MEDICAL FAIR INDIA was held from 20th to 22nd May 2022 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. It is India’s leading exhibition and conference for clinics, hospitals, and health centers, organized by Messe Düsseldorf India. Several topics were highlighted throughout the conference, such as Smart Hospitals, Diagnostics, Future for Health (FTR4H) and a wide range of topics relevant for present and future healthcare.
Clinomic participated for the first time as a startup part of FTR4H segment and was represented by our colleague and product manager Dr. Jubin Shah. FTR4H strongly advocates Indian-German collaborations and creates a global innovation ecosystem to advance digital health. A few of the key partners for the segment included the Economic Development Agency of the City of Düsseldorf, NRW Global Business, German Indian Startup Exchange Program (GINSEP), and other individual exhibitors. Our colleague Dr. Jubin Shah is an official ambassador of GINSEP to voluntarily support Indian and German startups.
Our company participated several times throughout the agenda. Highlights included a panel discussion on “opportunities for Indo-German co-operation for health startups”, featuring Dr. Jubin Shah alongside Gopala Krishan of Inditech Health and Seema Bhardwaj of GTAI. The panel discussion addressed a range of opportunities and challenges for healthcare startups and concluded that there is a wide range of opportunities specifically focused on providing scalable backends and frameworks for medical innovation.
During the “FTR4H Heroes” panel, our CEO and co-founder Dr. Arne Peine introduced our company and our smart assistance and telemedicine system Mona. In addition, Dr. Jubin Shah presented the telemedicine platform and the in-house AI expertise in a short pitch and explained why Clinomic’s innovation could be relevant for Indian hospitals, the healthcare industry in general, and the patients themselves.
Clinomic’s participation was overall well-received, and the innovation was highly appreciated for its impact on solving key critical care challenges. The visit was a great enrichment for our company and a valuable experience that provides us with a new foundation to build on for the future!
