Clinomic successfully closes a EUR 16 million financing round
The medtech company Clinomic successfully closed a financing round in July 2023. In addition to the existing shareholders, Sana Kliniken AG and a family office participated in the funding. The capital will be used for further growth strategy and product development.
Clinomic Group GmbH, based in Aachen, Germany, closed a financing round of around EUR 16 million in July 2023. New equity was raised and existing convertible loans were converted into equity. Existing shareholders participated in the financing and two new shareholders joined the shareholder group: Sana Kliniken AG and a family office from Luxembourg have also invested and will both become minority shareholder of Clinomic.
The financing will support Clinomic in accelerating the digitalization of the healthcare system and the optimization of processes in intensive and acute care medicine. The Management Board of Sana Kliniken views the investment positively: “Technological progress is highly important for the healthcare industry and especially for Sana,” said Thomas Lemke, CEO of Sana Kliniken AG. “That’s why we support innovative companies like Clinomic. Together, we are shaping the intensive care unit of the future!”
