The year 2022 was a transformative and exciting time for the development of Clinomic!
The establishment of Clinomic Group was a positive start to the year as 3 new subsidiaries were established. Our Clinomic Medical GmbH, Clinomic Telemedicine GmbH and Clinomic Solutions GmbH showcase our specialised approach to the contribution of intensive care medicine. It has been extremely positive to watch Clinomic grow immensely this year to mark itself as a pioneering scale up.
This heightened the celebration of Clinomic marking its 3rd, and soon 4th, Birthday! Our team gathered to celebrate this milestone and look back fondly on the achievements that we have made together so far. Following this, we were very excited to welcome Dr. med. Thomas Wolfram as the new CEO of the Clinomic Group. He is very experienced in the European healthcare sector and we are proud to have him as part of our management.
The opening of the Clinomic Telemedicine Centre in Aachen was also a significant milestone for us. As a result, partner hospitals are able to connect to highly qualified and board-certified ICU doctors and specialist nurses. This service is available in both English and German 24/7. We are thrilled to be able to provide on demand expertise and regular rounds with the entire clinical intensive care team to help critically ill patients at the right moment.
These dynamic changes sparked the evolution of a new headquarter for the Clinomic Group. The new office located at Jülicher Str. 306, 52070 Aachen, allows our growing team to work collaboratively and cohesively together under the same roof. This has given us the opportunity to further develop our innovative mindset through a diverse and dynamic team orientated approach.
Whilst obtaining these exciting changes to the company, the team at Clinomic had a very busy year with the participation in various fairs and presentations. As well as this, we welcomed many special visitors to our office in Aachen. Throughout this year, we attended many trade fairs and forums where we were able to showcase the capabilities of Mona. This began in March at the DRG Forum where visitors had the opportunity to get to know our smart assistant on site. They also had the chance to talk further with our team about the possibilities of Mona and the imminently positive impacts it is having in intensive care units.
Following this, Clinomic attended DMEA in April and gave visitors the possibility to meet Mona in person. This was a very successful trade fair and one of the most important on the calendar in the field of digital health. The Medical Fair in India at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, is India’s leading exhibition and conference for clinics, hospitals, and health centres. This was another fantastic opportunity to showcase Mona in May which attracted 400 exhibiting companies across various segments surrounding medical and healthcare.
Thrillingly, we were awarded the OUT OF THE BOX AWARD 2021 by the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Digitisation and Energy of the state of North Rhine Westphalia and Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart. This was another honourable achievement for us and one that everyone at Clinomic is very proud of. We presented our portfolio as part of the booth of OF THE BOX NRW at the Digital Demo Day in Düsseldorf in August.
In September, Clinomic presented Mona at the COVID-X Program and #INNO4COV19 event where projects are presented that address the current needs of the healthcare system. We were part of the booth of ICU4COVID, a project by the EU commission where hospitals within the EU are supported in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. We then welcomed the general assembly of the ICU4COVID consortium members and project partners to our office in Aachen. We were able to discuss further steps of the project and demonstrate Mona on the ICU of the RWTH University hospital. These visits were followed by further presentations of Mona at MEDICA and finally DIVI in the last two months of the year. It was exciting to be part of both of these events again and it was valuable to display the features of Mona to all of the visitors and highlight its telemedicine capabilities.
As the year draws to a close, we look back on a memorable and successful time. We also celebrate our achievements which were recognised through honourable awards. Clinomic was beyond proud to be chosen as part of many prestigious awards. We feel very privileged to be recognised within several lists of innovative companies.
Thank you very much to everyone who has contributed to a successful, busy and inspiring year for Clinomic. We are looking forward to continuing our mission in 2023, to put patients first in everything we do and make a sincere impact on the lives of critically ill patients. On behalf of everyone at Clinomic, we warmly wish all of our customers, suppliers, and investors a happy new year!
